Mogo Zoo
Mogo Zoo is a privately owned zoo situated 10km south of Batemans Bay in the historic and scenic gold mining village of Mogo. It’s an organisation committed to the welfare and survival of endangered animals and provides world class facilities for more than two hundred animals including over 42 rare and exotic species. Visit the White Lions of ‘Timbavati’, for example. And, Mogo Zoo boasts the largest exhibition of primates in any Australian private zoo.
Open 9am to 5pm seven days a week (closed only on Christmas Day), the zoo recommends a minimum of two hours for your visit. Ideally, visitors should plan to catch the keeper talks and feeding sessions which start at 10.30am and 1.45pm daily.
